Our Optometrists

B.OPTOM (UNSW) GRAD CERT OC THERA (UNSW)
Mr. Hon moved to Australia at a young age and completed most of his schooling locally. He graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2007 and later furthered his studies by obtaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics from UNSW. With over 16 years of experience, he is passionate about helping patients maintain their vision, recognising eyesight as one of our most vital senses.
Mr. Hon’s favourite area of practice is myopia control, as it plays a crucial role in reducing a patient’s risk of future vision loss. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes three young children, and finds relaxation in gardening.

B.OPTOM (UNSW) M.C.OPTOM (UK)
Mr. Ramshaw graduated with his Optometry degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1981. After spending seven years practising in England, he became a Member of the British College of Optometrists. In 1993, Peter founded Forestway Optometry Glenrose, relocating the practice to its current location at Glenrose Village Shopping Centre in 2015.
With a focus on cataract, macular degeneration, and glaucoma detection, Mr. Ramshaw is passionate about offering his patients high-quality lens options to suit their individual vision needs.
Beyond optometry, Mr. Ramshaw enjoys staying active and plays over-45 football for the Wakehurst Tigers. He remains dedicated to providing top-level eye care to the Forest community for many years to come.
